New driving laws go into effect for Texans starting September 1st.  Here's a document from the State outlining the changes.

 

The 2 big items are:

1.  everyone in your vehicle needs to wear a seatbelt regardless of the location.

2.  No mobile phone use without hands free device in school zones.
